When we first came into the gym to see the presentation, you asked us if we knew what you meant when you said, “walk a mile in my shoes” and I really didn’t know what you meant by that.  I really became aware of what you meant by the end of the presentation.

Now I know somewhat how it would be to put myself in their shoes.  I didn’t want to say this out loud in the gym but that video you showed me almost made me cry.  It helped me realize how thankful and blessed I’m but what I wish is that some of them could walk in my shoes for a little bit.  I just wanted to say “Thank you.”

One thing that I was especially thankfull to see the brace for the person that had scoliosis.  Because a few weeks ago the doctors told me that I had scoliosis of the spin, and from that day until the presentation I was depressed because I didn’t know that scoliosis of the spin was curable, and the reason why I was depressed was because I have wanted t join the United States military since I was five years old, and I thought that dream was shattered but now I know that I can still have a chance to fulfill my only childhood dream and for that piece of information I am very thankfull for “Touch of Understanding.”  Please keep teaching people about disabilities because it really makes a difference.

All those people with disabilities I just can’t understand what they go threw.  I did get a little taste of what they go threw.  I learned a lot from your presentation.  I hope that one day all of your dreams come true for all the people with disabilitys.  I never even new about some of the diseases these people have.  My heart goes out to all of the people who came and made an impression on me.  They helped me understand that I can see beyond my past and work on my future.

Your presentation blessed me in many ways.  The people who came touched my heart in many places. I hope I did the same to the wonderfull people who taught me the difficult times that many people go threw.  I hope your organization grows and last forever. Thank you for the wonderfull things you taught me.

That experience change me forever so forth I’m truly blessed by God to have what I need to survive and same.  Yo guys taught me so much about the challenges yall go through day after day after day.  I like to ad I admire all of you guys for being so so brave and never giving up.  I’ve learned to don’t judge a book by the cover any more because life is truly difficult even without one of your six sense’s.  The most touching part of the raley was when we my group slash class walked over to the blind station were I met the blind man he is one very big insperations in my life.

I almost shed tears when he was talking.  I hope you can tell him about how much he had a impact on one boy going through hard times.  All off you are great to me in many ways and God bless you who made it come true.

I have learned to help people with disabilities.  Also I think am blessed for having all of my body parts.  Also it made an impression on me to be thankful for what I have and treat others how I want to be treated.
